According to a press release from the American Red Cross, the "blood supply in the United States is critically low and the majority of the country’s blood centers are reporting significant declines in their blood collections." If you are able to donate, please do. Especially right now in the middle of the pandemic, it is more important than ever to help out.

With canceled blood drives as well as many organizations closing and having workers stay home, it has really hit America's blood banks hard. With the flu season upon us, the challenge of maintaining an available blood supply for patients in need is going to be harder and harder. That being said, there will be an upcoming Blood Drive out in Naches on Monday, November 23rd. The drive will be held from 10 in the morning, until 3 in the afternoon. To schedule an appointment, to make everything faster and smoother for you, you are encouraged to do so at RedCrossBlood.org. If you feel just like showing up, that's quite alright as well. The blood drive will be located inside the "Meeting Room" of the Church of the Nazarne located at 103 Naches Avenue.

Remember, it is the season of giving. What better gift to give, than the gift of life. If you can, please donate, that way someone else can have a better Thanksgiving.
