Crunched Truck Spills Chocolate on the Roadway
The road to Willy Wonka's can be sweet -- except this was a section of the A2 highway in Poland between Warsaw and Poznań, according to Poland Radio. Of course drivers were detoured due to cleanup efforts (and the risk of diabetes).
“In unknown circumstances, the driver of a heavy goods vehicle transporting a liquid in the form of chocolate hit a barrier, as a result of which the substance spilled out onto two lanes,” a police spokeswoman said. The driver of the truck was injured in the accident yesterday morning around 5:30a (local time), but expected to be OK.
Just goes to show, be careful when heading down the Hershey Highway!
