The Central Washington State Fair has announced its first two entertainment acts for 2019 -- Grammy-nominated MCA Nashville recording artist Josh Turner and rapper Nelly will be in Yakima this September.

Turner, the rich-voiced hitmaker known for such country favorites such  "Long Black Train," "Deep South," "Hometown Girl," "Would You Go With Me," "Your Man, "Time Is Love" and "Why Don't We Just Dance," hits the Corona Stage at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 20 as part of the US Cellular Concert Series.

One of the youngest artists ever inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, Turner's latest recording project, "I Serve a Savior," debuted at No. 1 on Nielsen's Country Albums chart and at No. 2 on  Billboard'sTop Christian Albums Chart.
