Congrats, Seahawks fans! Your superstitions and rituals really worked on Sunday (January 3)!

While the Seahawks (again!) played to exactly the level of their opponent for three quarters, the Seahawks finally broke loose in the fourth for a comeback 26-23 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in a game that took place in Arizona. The win cinched at least the #3 seed in the NFC playoff picture. Seattle could have vaulted into the #1 slot with some help but the Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints both won over the weekend as well stymieing the Seahawks vision of a potential first round bye in the playoffs and home field advantage through out.

Seattle will face their arch nemesis the Los Angeles Rams for a third time this season in the Wild Card weekend of games. The Hawks and Rams will kickoff at 1:40 p.m. on SATURDAY from Lumen Field in Seattle. The game will be televised nationally on FOX-TV and you can, of course, hear the action with hometown announcers and former Seahawk players Steve Raible and Dave Wyman on 94.5 KATS and News/Talk 1280-AM KIT.

Here are all of the highlights in this condensed video of yesterday's game:

Following the game, Seahawks legendary Wide Receiver Steve Largent posted a video that was Tweeted out by the Seahawks congratulating fellow receiver D.K. Metcalf for breaking his 35 year-old team record for most yards receiving in a season. Largent amassed 1,287 yards in the 1985 season. With two catches against the Niners, Metcalf -- in just his second season in the National Football League -- surpassed the great #80 with a total of 1,291 total yards.

The Hawks also posted a sizzle reel of some of the greatest hits in team history with the caption, "Us leaving 2020 like..."
