I woke up this morning, and there was a treat on my kitchen counter.

I don’t remember seeing them before I went to bed, but they were sitting right there next to my wife’s keys and her work stuff.

I opened them up, tried them, and now I’m giving you want I thought.

I usually put how I’m not being paid to eat and review a particular snack. But in complete honesty, I have no clue where these came from.

Maybe the FLIPZ company tracked down my wife and gave them to her. to give to me for a new 'Timmy Tries' article. I highly doubt it, but we are entering the season of miracles.

I’m going to assume that no one in a position of power gave these to my better half for the sole purpose of me eating and reviewing them.

To that end, I know that I’m not getting any type of money for this review from a FLIPZ company, but if something changes, I will be sure to write a follow-up.

When I first opened the bag, I got the overpowering smell of dark chocolate.

I don’t care for dark chocolate. Unless it’s one of those Andes Mints (you know, the little rectangular ones in the green foil), I just don’t care for anything dark chocolate.

But for the sake of science and this review, I ate one of the pretzels.

The first taste was of the dark chocolate (as expected), then when my teeth crunched into it and I got the pretzel and its saltiness, everything fit together like a perfect puzzle.

They were delicious! The peppermint flavor came secondary to the mix of salt and chocolate, but it was there, and the tastes played off one another perfectly.

This could be my new favorite festive treat!

2nd Opinion Taste Test Flipz Peppermint Hot Cocoa Pretzels

I left for work before my wife woke up. But, by putting all the pieces together, I’m assuming she loves these. Here are my reasons.

The bag was already opened, and it was less than full.

The bag was by her keys and work stuff, meaning she was planning on taking them to work (to enjoy throughout the day).

She didn’t tell me about them, meaning they were too good she didn’t want to share (or she knows my disdain for dark chocolate and thought I wouldn’t want to try them, but I’m going with the other reason).

Taste Testing of Flipz Peppermint Hot Cocoa Pretzels UPDATE:

Before I published this article, my wife texted me, and I asked about the pretzels. She hadn’t really seen me to tell me about them, but…

They’re freakin’ good, huh?” – Stephanie (my wife).
