Hoptober Fest For Schools!

In the year of 2020, many things have been suspended, changed, and flat out canceled. For some aspects of life, the need for help is still there, but the way of achieving it, has got to be a little creative. Normally, the Yakima Schools Foundation would hold their annual fundraiser, which included an auction & dinner, but you guessed it, COVID-19 threw a monkey wrench into that plan. So, since the need to help better our schools and educational programs is still there, the event will be heading the cyber world as a virtual fundraiser.

Not much is known, about the upcoming event accept that we're to mark our calendars for Thursday, October 1st!

The event aims for support for the teachers and the students of our learning community. More details will be released as the Hoptober Fest gets closer. If you're curious exactly what the Yakima Schools Foundation is, it was founded in 1991 and funds a variety of activities & programs in all areas of education. Technology, Physical Education, Reading, Writing, Science, Math and the Arts. The funds also go to help aid in field trips & other school functions.
