Iron Maiden have finally joined in on the Pop! Funko figure craze with four versions of their beloved mascot Eddie hitting shelves and webstores soon.

Unlike other rock and metal groups who have had their likenesses cast as plastic caricatured dolls, no member of Iron Maiden will undergo the treatment. Instead, they've opted for the ever-malleable Eddie, paying home to the legendary British group's first four records with a doll inspired by the Iron MaidenKillers, Number of the Beast and Piece of Mind album covers, all of which were originally drawn by the iconic Derek Riggs.

In a Funko blog post, the toy manufacturer stated that this is just "wave one," suggesting that more Eddie figures are in the works. The amount of dolls the company could produce just of Eddie is seemingly inexhaustible — just take a look at our four-decade retrospective of Iron Maiden artwork at the bottom of the page.
