King County Ranked Among Least Politically Tolerant In Washington
This should heat things up.
A recent study conducted by PredictWise -- a polling and analytics firm -- as comissioned by The Atlantic magazine, found political prejudice and intolerance to be vastly more prevalent in King County than almost anywhere in the U.S.
Seattle/Tacoma and surrounding communities ranked in the 98th percentile, meaning that just two out of every 100 counties in the country are less tolerant of the opposition than they are.
Yakima County fared so-so, ranking in the 52nd percentile (48 counties/100 are more prejudiced against the political "other."
