Yakima No Parking Sign Sparks Hilarious Flock Camera Joke
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. As my wife and I drove by this parking sign lying on the ground, my wife's comment filled me with one word: laughter. So much so, in fact, we looped around the block to snap a picture!
"What happened? You think some Yakima Man thought it was a Flock camera?"
- Stephanie, My Smart aleck Wife.
Okay, you know and I know that that wasn't the case (I hope it wasn't the case). If it was, that is pretty funny, thanks Yakima Man!

My Stance On Flock Cameras
I'm on two sides on them; I see the good they can do, but I also see how they can be misused. Sadly, history shows that we as humans do the misuse pretty well.
I do not condone destroying property that is not yours, even things that are misused. Steps are needed to properly remove them, and as much as I love vigilante justice (looking at you, Batman), in the real world, that can carry some big consequences.
Phones Vs Flock
One comparison I've heard in favor of Flock cameras is the fact that our phones are tracking everything, much like the Flock cameras; what’s the difference?
To that I'd say my real issue is consent. I'm choosing to purchase the phone, choosing which apps to use, and choosing if I want to take it with me on my travels or turn it off.
Flock cameras, we don't have that choice.
As I said above, I see the good they can do, but it's a real slippery slope; I suspect we will fall down.

But just wait till they turn actual no parking signs into a type of flock camera! Can you say, "Law & Order: Meter Maid Justice".
