Martin Luther King Jr. Day Closures in Yakima

As the city of Yakima celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day in Yakima, some businesses and services are taking the day off.

You won't get the mail today, unless it was Express Mail on delivery. If you're not expecting something via Express Mail, don't bother checking your mailbox.

There's no trash pickup from sanitation, so don't bother putting the trash can on the street.

Yakima School District, as well as other school districts in our area, is taking today off. Your kids get to sleep in.

Government offices are also closed.
