KATS Concert Report: Metallica in Seattle, Washington!
One of the heaviest shows to hit the Pacific Northwest in ages happened this past weekend!
Two nights rocking out Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington!
Metallica with Pantera, Mammoth WVH (Friday, 8/30), and Five Finger Death Punch, Ice Nine Kills (Sunday, 9/1)!
Many of my friends attended the show(s), and two of them posted photos that I was blown away by! I reached out, and they both said to share the love and let the world see the pics they took!

A Sensational Sunday in Seattle With Metallica!
So last night (Sunday, 9/1) was an amazing moment in time for me. Growing up on Metallica, I never thought I would ever be able to see them once, let alone twice.
The first time was right after the album St. Anger came out. They were playing in Seattle with Godsmack as an opener. That show was amazing, and I still vividly remember it.
But this show was an experience like no other.
First, there was Ice Nine Kills. I've never really heard of them, but definitely gonna check them out!! The theatrical performance they put on during the songs was amazing!!!
Then came Five Finger Death Punch. They are right up there with me as far as favorite bands go. (Metallica obviously being #1). They did an amazing job. Their songs hit hard. Ivan's voice was on point, and the whole band was on a whole other level!! They brought it, and it was just as good as I expected.
Then Metallica came on with the normal opening song that they come out to, which is always a moment in itself. They came on stage and ripped our faces off!!
They maybe up therein age but you could not tell in the slightest. Still just as fast and as heavy as ever!!
James's voice was on point, and Kirk's solos were phenomenal. The whole band was playing like it was their first show!! All in all, the entire concert as a whole was epic!!
I'm so glad I went and will go again when they come back. Going to a Metallica show is a spiritual experience for me, and they delivered and filled my soul!! (For a little while). – Robert McAdam
