Most Popular New and Used Cars in Yakima in 2020

Not surprisingly, pickup trucks are both the most popular new and used vehicles in Yakima and Tri-Cities.
The fine folks at iSeeCars.com "analyzed over 8 million used car sales from the last five model years (2015-2019) and over 4.9 million new car sales in 2020. Each model’s share of used car sales and new car sales within each metro area and state was mathematically modeled to determine the best-selling cars in each geographical region."

Nationally, the Ford F-150 was not only the most popular new automobile in America but also the #1 used vehicle sold in the United States as well.

The auto industry at large was and is as adversely impacted negatively by the corona virus pandemic just like many others. The industry responded by adjusting financing deals on new cars and a heightened demand for affordable used cars led to car purchases for many consumers.

The Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price for a 2021 brand new Ford F-150 is a cool $28,940. A little steep for me but, then again, I'm still rocking a hoopty that wasn't even built in this CENTURY! (Yes, I'm still rolling in a 1999 Mitsubishi Montero Sport -- Hey, don't mock me! That baby's still going at 213,000+ miles!)
