NASA’s First Ever Table Top Role-Playing Game Is Free!
It’s a rare breed of nerd that loves Dungeons and Dragons but also worships Star Trek. Who quotes Lord of the Rings while holding a Star Wars Light Sabre. Who argues Game of Thrones cannon while wearing a “FRAK OFF” Battlestar Galactica t-shirt. Who am I kidding? It’s not a rare breed; that’s just a good old-fashioned epic nerd of culture!
Why hasn’t the idea of space and medieval lore been combined before? No, we’re not counting the dragon episode of Rick & Morty. But to the best of my knowledge, this is the first time the two ends of sci-fi have been combined for a spectacular adventure, at least in the broad market.
NASA has just released its first-ever tabletop RPG!
Fans of tabletop RPGs (role-playing games) can let loose on a new adventure from NASA and, best of all, for free!
The premise behind the new game from NASA’s new game, “The Lost Universe,” is simple. What if a dragon stole the Hubble Space Telescope?
Where did the dragon come from? How did it capture the telescope? Where did it take it? When did you take it? How will you and your guild get it back, and how would you defeat the dragon?
These are the types of questions you can play out and explore in NASA’s new game that you can get for free!
The official gameplay book is free to download from NASA’s website!
Try it out, and let us know what you think of it. How did you stop the dragon? How many adventures are you planning? Is it worth the price you paid for it (free)? Tap the App and let us know.
