New NEOGEO System Comes Equipped With 20 Classics and Portable Handheld

Tommo has teamed up with SNK and Playmore to release a new NEOGEO game system that comes complete with system, arcade stick and handheld that's pre-loaded with 20 NEOGEO classics. Best of all, unlike the previous NEOGEO system, this is very affordable!

Just in time for Christmas, this bad boy comes out December 6th with a price tag of about $200. Not bad if you consider the old NEOGEO AES system used to cost about $500 when it first game out with each game costing about $200 each, since they were literally arcade games at home. There have been several incarnations of home NEOGEO systems including the NEOGEO CD and NEOGEO Pocket which played downgraded games, but it wasn't bad. Several re-releases of NEOGEO games have been released on several systems and used as downloadable games on all formats. This way, you can take your handheld and plug it in to the NEOGEO X system to play these classics on your big screen, or take it on the go.
