My wife & I were talking about what we miss most since the beginning of the pandemic back in March. Sure the normal stuff popped up. Seeing friends and family with out worries. Visiting grandparents and actually sitting in the same room with them. Enjoying blowing out candles at my birthday last week, (yeah I didn't get to do that). Don't get me wrong, I did celebrate my birthday, but it was more of a "Protest with Cake" but we had fun. The one thing that my wife and I both agreed on was... WE MISS GOING TO THE MOVIES! Well, hope might just be around the corner!

Over the weekend, the Facebook page for Orion Cinema & Mickey's Pub posted something very optimistic!

Something big comes this way... watch and see!

I know Yakima, has been cleared for Phase 2 for a little over a week now, so hopefully things will get back to being fully open sooner rather than later. But with this announcement, from the Orion/Mickey camp, maybe they have a more concrete time frame of when we can kick back and enjoy something on the big screen!

....it’s BIG!

So, we know that Mickey's Pup was able to open their doors to serve food early last month, but we've been waiting to enjoy that food in front of a big screen! Could the Orion Theater be opening up soon, in some sort of reduced capacity? Are they going to go the AMC (in Kennewick) and allow their theaters to be "rented" for private parties? Are they going to put a projector on the outside of their building and have a giant "drive in"? Are they bringing back Avengers: End Game? Only time will tell, but I know I'm excited!
