We all have problems and issues in our lives, some of which are more important than others.

But over the weekend, seeing how many emotions there are concerning TikTok and its fate in social media, it made me ask, is this what is really important?

To some people, yeah, it is, even though it probably shouldn’t be.

Organizations that need help, that is something that really needs attention.

Seeing a short video on a small screen can bring you a smile, and then it’s done, but helping someone can change a life.

Last week, Lynne Calmus took to social media to throw out a request for something that is vitally important for an organization that does a lot and, sadly, is one of those “out of sight, out of mind” until you really need them.

Yakima Red Cross is needing help!

Lynne posted: “Urgent Need for volunteer medical screeners at the Yakima Red Cross!

Volunteers will receive free training on how to properly screen people (blood pressure, pulse, temperature) who come in to donate blood.

Volunteer Medical Screener volunteers join the blood collections staff to ensure timely processing of donors at blood drives.

Think about it: you are helping those who give so that others can live.

The training you receive will be skills that you can use later on if you choose to pursue a career in the medical industry, whether reception, assistant, or even continuing your education and learning to become a phlebotomist.

81 Missing Children From Washington. Do You Recognize Anyone?

I remember seeing missing children's images on milk cartons. It's every parent's nightmare. When children go missing from home, school, anywhere, fear sets in. Who took the child or teen? What happened? Please take a look at these missing children images. One of these kids could be your neighbor, friend, or family member. Do you have any information about any of these missing people?
