Relive the Glory Days of Shopping by Visiting Kmart in the Metaverse
The Oculus Quest 2 is not only the fun games you can play like Beat Saber and Walking Dead but interactive experiences as well. The free app VR Chat gives you a chance to speak to others and explore homemade worlds. Some people are getting very creative and one ambitious designer decided to recreate Kmart in the world of VR for anyone to visit free of charge.
I grabbed some footage of me walking up and down the aisles to see what they had on the shelf just for fun.
I thought this was a great idea. I'd love to see more like this. Maybe Toys R Us will be in the future.
What if someone could recreate the Yakima Mall or Country Store? That'd be amazing.
You can find this Kmart by doing a quick search for Kmart in VR Chat, available on Quest 2 and other VR consoles.
