As heard here on your Home of the 12s in Central Washington, the Seattle Seahawks laid a GIANT egg in Sunday's home loss at Lumen Field to the New York Giants, 17-12.

The Hawks could never seem to get firing on all cylinders on offense while the defense, while only surrendering 17 points, could stop back-up G-Men QB Colt McCoy at critical moments.

Probably the only real highlight in a very lackluster game, was a punt blocked by Seahawks special teamer Ryan Neal that barely rolled out of the back of the end zone for a safety. As it turned out, the difference between a two-point score and a potential seven-point score was the ultimate difference in the game.

The loss was not only embarrassing to the 5-7 Giants, it was also costly as Seattle fell from the #2 seed in the NFC playoff race to a Wild Card combined with the LA Rams win over the Arizona Cardinals.

The Hawks play New York's other lowly team, the winless Jets (0-12) next Sunday at home as they hit the final quarter of their 2020 regular season schedule. Seattle is on a crash-course to meet the division-leading Rams in a week 15 matchup in Seattle featuring Yakima native Cooper Kupp.

Don't forget to tune into the "Todd & Timmy Show" the following Monday morning for your shot at scoring a $25 gift card to Tailgaters Bar & Grill in Selah with the Seahawks "Play of the Game" as called by the voice of the Hawks, Steve Raible.
