Sewer Work to Impact Traffic for 35 Days in Yakima

Driver alert. A city project to upsize a sewer line in Yakima is expected to impact traffic on a section of Fair Avenue starting Tuesday, June 23. A news release from the city says the project covers an area of Fair Avenue from Spruce Street to the Interstate 82 off-ramp (Exit 33A).
Traffic in the area will be limited to one lane at times. It's going to be a complicated project that could take up to 35 days. It's expected to be completed in early August.
