Spirit Halloween Spotted at Former Rite Aid in Yakima

The Yakima Valley’s unofficial Halloween Headquarters may be getting a 2nd location soon, and with Halloween right around the corner, it can’t open soon enough! We have the details and pics below!

Union Gap Location Isn’t The Only One?

Last month we wrote about the grand opening of Spirit Halloween’s Union Gap location in the old Shopko / At Home building next to Burlington (you can read that article and check out photos from inside the store here).

Many were curious if this would be the ONLY Spirit Halloween location opening this year in the Yakima Valley, and leaving a jack-o'-lantern-sized hole in our souls. Well, thanks to some eagle eyed sleuthing, we know there may just be a 2nd location opening in the heart of Yakima.

Spirit Halloween Coming To Summitview Location?

There are many vacant buildings in Yakima, and several of them would be a great home for the seasonal spooky shop, but it looks like the former Rite Aid at 12 N 9th Ave & Summitview Ave may be the new location (UPDATE: According to SpiritHalloween.com, it is indeed a 2nd location that will be opening later this month).

Spotted by Yakima local Bobby Mendoza Jr. and reported on his social media page, Bobby News, he snapped some pretty convincing pictures of some scary products (we assume what’s in the boxes is scary) coming into the vacant building.
