Sportsman’s Days Hits Perfect Pitch in Naches

Naches couldn't have planned it better.

This weekend's Sportsman's Days has been enjoying perfect weather -- and a perfect blend of entertainment, food and fun for the whole community.

The midway's been doing a brisk business since Friday night, and music, dancing and the always-popular lip-sync contest continue Saturday night on the Depot Stage.

Sunday, it's another Applewood Park Booster breakast from 7-11 a.m. on the midway, a 10 a.m. community church service on the Lions Stage and Splash & Dash 5K Fun Run on the Naches Greenway starting at 11.

The trout-fishing derby, featuring live (for a while, at least!) fish and loud kids, begins at 1:30. The celebration ends at 3:15 p.m. Sunday.
