That can be a super scary spot for everyone involved. The secret is out, but the message hasn't made it to trained professionals just yet. Knowledge is power, honesty will set you free and it's always good to know what to do next.

https://www.facebook.com/events/352845315836944/?active_tab=about

Here's what the event page had to say

You can make a difference. This 90-minute training is designed to empower individuals to intervene when someone is experiencing thoughts of suicide, and dispel common myths regarding suicide and mental health. This SAFE training will cover topics such as:

• Behavioral health implications of the COVID-19 pandemic
• Suicide statistics
• Suicide prevention and wellness
• How to help someone experiencing thoughts of harming themselves, and what to do in the event of a behavioral health crisis

At the end of the training, we will allot time to answer questions and facilitate discussions.

There was a moment many years ago when I had a friend confess they had been hurting themselves and I felt so helpless and worried. I encouraged them to get help but you never know what they are really going to do so I encourage anyone who has even the slightest interest to attend and please share so as many people see this as possible.

Gaining insight and know-how will make you and those you come in contact with healthier and stronger so no time like the present to get your power back. Register now so you don't miss anything and if no one else says it, thank you for caring.
