Taco Fest Coming to Yakima in September

You had me at "taco fest."

Why this hasn't been a thing yet is beyond me, but hats off to the Central Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for teaming up with Craft Beverage Yakima to organize the first-ever Yakima Taco Fest!

The event will be held on historic Front Street on Saturday, Sept.15, from 3-8 p.m. and will feature more than a dozen street taco vendors from the area as well as local brews, wines, ciders and spirits.

Speaking of which, tickets for the 21-and-older event will be $12 for General Admission, $35 for VIP. They'll go on sale near the end of June. Live music and games plus a crowd-sourced judging of the best taco will be on the day's docket.
