Yesterday my good friend Ty Paxton, aka 'Larry Markwart,' took the ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) 'Ice Bucket Challenge' and named me as one of three people he wanted to see complete it as a means of raising money and bringing awareness to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
2014 Yakima Sports Awards
Earlier today, I had the honor of co-emceeing the 12th annual Yakima Valley Sports Awards luncheon held at the Yakima Convention Center.  The awards acknowledge the most outstanding individual and team performances from the 2013-14 high school sports world in 20 categories.
