Earlier tonight (April 26) on KIMA-TV's Action News, Sports Director Alan Sillence pulled back the curtain to his own office to reveal his collection of memorabilia that he has held on to during his tenured career in television covering sports in the Yakima Valley and Central Washington. At the end of his sportscast, he solicited viewers to send in photographs of their most sacred of places.

Yesterday my good friend Ty Paxton, aka 'Larry Markwart,' took the ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) 'Ice Bucket Challenge' and named me as one of three people he wanted to see complete it as a means of raising money and bringing awareness to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
