As Downtown Summer Nights gets ready to launch its sixth season, longtime Yakima favorite Blake Noble stopped by the KATS studio to do some reminiscing with Todd E. Lyons Esq.

Since its inception in 2013, the Downtown Summer Nights concert series has done nothing but get more popular each year. This Thursday night marks the kickoff the sixth season of the wildly successful event.

The sixth annual Downtown Summer Nights concert series returns to historic North Front Street in Yakima every Thursday beginning June 14.

Opening night is Sept. 15 for The Seasons Performance Hall -- and they're planning a grand celebration.

You could feel it Thursday night along Fourth Street, blowing gently down Yakima Avenue and breezing east toward Terrace Heights: Summer isn't over, but its days are numbered. Time to fold up the tents on another year of Downtown Summer Nights...
