The band is currently on the second leg of its Firepower Tour.

The church was home to Westpark Academy -- a local private school. They have now moved to the former St. Paul's Cathedral School.

My friend from Yakima Valley builds high-end houses all over the United States. I gave him a few KATS roller banner pieces and said to him "You should take a picture with these wherever you are!" And so he did -- and does!

As someone who has to get up early every morning and drive to the work from the west to the east I get treated to some of the most spectacular sunrises. A couple of days ago just the sliver of the moon was visible in the photo I took here...

Went for a ride with a buddy this morning and he couldn't tell whether the turn light was green, which inspired me to take this shot. If you look hard enough you can see that the green turn arrow is lit up, but that is in a photo. When you look at it with your eye it's nearly impossible to tell without the sun burning through your retina...

My nephew Nic flew up from California to check out Seattle for the first time this weekend and we did the typical touristy things... on a budget. So for instance, we went to the Space Needle to take a ride to the top... until we realized it was going to cost 22 frickin' dollars...

Yesterday morning it seemed like winds had sent the smoke curtain that has enveloped the Yakima Valley some other direction. Yesterday afternoon it returned and nearly made the foothills disappear once again and, as you can see in the photo above, nearly screened out the sun...
