A couple of weeks ago, my seven-year old daughter, Willow, and I went ice skating at the Yakima Ice Rink (1700 E Beech St) for our friend's kid's birthday party. I haven't been ice skating since I was still living in my hometown of Nashville, TN (over a decade ago)...

Yakima Parks and Recreation's Harman Center at Gailleon Park (101 No. 65th Ave.) is hosting “Breakfast With Santa” this Saturday (Dec. 2) beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Doesn't matter if "ho-ho-ho" or "ooh-rah" gets you rolling, this Saturday (Dec. 10) is the day to answer the call for Christmas during the Give a Toy, Get a Ticket Event.

HO! HO! HO! Santa Claus is rolling up on a Harley-Davidson, and I am going to be there to get photos with him. You should, too!

So starting about last week, I got a few emails asking what twisted Christmas movies I liked. I guess my Thanksgiving Picks got some people turned on/off to "Thanks Killing". So by popular demand here's my Top 5 Christmas Flicks.

It's almost that time of the year. Well, sure, it's the time of jolliness and being festive. Me? I look at it as the time of year I can tell my kids that Santa is watching to straighten them out. Fortunately, there's now an app where you can "scan" your child to see if they're naught or nice. Best of all, it's free!

In other (fictional) news today, the real Santa Claus got a lap dance this week at Rick's Cabaret in Manhattan, and we were on the scene to capture the exciting night of Holiday cheer.
