In a delightful move for participants, entry fees have been waived this year, thanks to the generous sponsorship from Yakima Federal Savings and Loan.

It's a family tradition to attend the parade each year and then attend the Central Washington State Fair.

The fair started Wednesday and a parade is planned for 6:30 Thursday in downtown Grandview. It's billed as the larges summer parade in the Yakima Valley.

The Yakima Sunfair Parade Board has announced winners of this year’s parade in a variety of categories.

This year's Sunfair Parade starts at 10:00 am Saturday September 24 and follows the same route as previous years starting at 16th and Yakima Avenue
