With the Central Washington State Fair Opening this weekend, it is also time to celebrate Yakima in another way: the Yakima Sunfair Parade! Technically, the two events are not connected, but they go hand in hand in the minds and hearts of many in the Yakima Valley! With over 100 entries in this year's parade, it is shaping up to be one of the biggest!

The parade kicks off at 10am on Saturday (9/23) and will travel the length of Yakima avenue. Check out the line-up (as of this writing, via YakimaParades.com) of the Yakima Sunfair Parade (line-up and position subject to change).
