Whenever a new restaurant comes to Yakima it seems like it always pops up in the downtown or Union Gap areas. I can't complain as with all that traffic of those areas it would be beneficial however when a new restaurant opens in other areas I have to look into it...

It was 32 years ago today, June 2nd, 1989, that I worked an overnight shift (Midnight to 6:00 a.m.) on the radio by myself for the very first time.
May 18th, 1980 was a Sunday. I remember playing outside before having to be drug to Sunday School when a neighbor kid came over and said, "Our friends from Castle Rock just called and said the mountain blew!"
This past weekend, the day before Mother's Day, was the Flea Market in West Valley. I was there and saw everything from antiques, homemade soaps, crystal necklaces, pepper jellies and so much more. Here's some photos of what I saw when I was in attendance.
