"In the history of moving in to a new home, has anyone ever actually completely finished moving in?"
I posed this question on my personal Facebook page today and found out that I am not alone in my exercise in futility.
My wife and I had a new home constructed for us last winter and moved in at the end of March. Mind you, we quite literally were moving 4/10ths of a mile from our previous residence in East Valley. We thought it would be a piece of cake. Get a moving van for a day, load it up, drive around the corner and unload it. Voila`, right? Bzzzzz! Wrong!

It's now going on six months since we got the keys and my lovely bride still has no room to park in the garage. In the comments on my Facebook post, only one person (a military man no less!) said that he was able to ever feel like he was completely finished with the process.

How about you? How long have you been in the same place yet still have unopened boxes of stuff? Any tips on how to get it done once-and-for-all? I'm all ears!
