Tuesday Bike Nights Dedicated To Nathan Thompson — You Will Be Missed

The morning of Monday, May 22, a very good friend of everyone was taken suddenly from us. Nathan Thompson was found dead in his bed. He always came to Bike Nights and was a friend to everyone in the community. This Tuesday's (May 23) Central Washington Bike Nights at the Warehouse in Yakima, 11th Avenue and Tieton Drive, will be dedicated to Nathan and his wonderful memory. Nathan was a city of Yakima code inspector. I never saw Nathan without a smile on his face. I am proud to have called him my friend. He came to our Bike Nights and he was always there for everyone.

I remember when I was feeling really down about myself. My friend Megan invited me over to her house for Thanksgiving dinner. It was more like a "Friendsgiving" dinner. Nathan was the life of the party.

Nathan Thompson, you will never be forgotten. We dedicate Central Washington Bike Nights to you, my friend. May you ride your favorite metric across the sky!
