When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Heck, even NOW, what do you want to do in regards to a career?

I’ve said it before, and it still holds true, I am very fortunate with my life and my career path in life.

I’ve taken many detours, but have held strong to my career goal ever since I was a little boy at 3-years-old.

My mom worked overnights, so it was my dad’s responsibility to get my brother and I up and ready for school, and many mornings were spent listening to the radio on the loud living room sound system.

Add to that the radio work my grandfather, my uncle, and even my dad for a time did in radio, that is what I wanted to do when I grew up.

Even when I was working in radio part time, and I ventured into other avenues (medical courier, phlebotomist, computer IT for our local school district), I always fell back to my true love.

I wonder how many people are like me and figure out what they want to do at such a young age and pursue it. With so many options now, it makes me scratch my head.
