"Weird Al" Yankovic is touring the country with his "The Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour" with special guest Emo Phillips. The title of this tour is a warning to fans because Al will has not been doing any of his parodies or well-known originals (the way we know them). Instead he's dusting off gems that only the hardcore fans will truly appreciate like "Mr. Frump In The Iron Lung" & "Generic Blues." If you don't know those two, don't worry, he's switching it up, show to show.

Not only is he backing off of the stuff he's been known for, but for anyone who has seen his show, they know it's quite the experience. Between costume changes, backup dancers, storm troopers, lasers and video screens, Al's shows have always been a feast for the ears and eyes. This current tour, however, he's not only backing off the hits, he's bringing a stripped-down show. None of the flair, just the band bringing the jams. Don't get me wrong, this show is just as memorable, even if it is stripped down, but one thing that is new to a "Weird Al" concert: COVERS!
