We all have them! Crazy karaoke stories and if you don't, no worries, there's still plenty of time.

Pro-Tip

I learned a lesson on my 21st birthday, don't announce that you can barely read the words due to such strong drinks, it's an easy way for you to get cut off from not only drinking but also the mic! Side note, if you plan on drinking that much, no shame, just get yourself a ride home or call an Uber. Totally worth it!

Karaoke Ideas

Karaoke is a fantastic ice breaker for work Christmas Parties or birthdays. While I lived in Hawaii, you could rent out karaoke rooms and bring your own drinks. The first experience making a Spodi, a bunch of hard liquors mixed with fruit juice and real fruit, turned the evening into a blur. It was delicious and so much fun!

If it's your first time going a great way to break the ice is nominating your friends so no one has any idea what song they are about to sing!

What About That Mic?

There are plenty of places in the Yakima Valley to test out your pipes but I was curious if anyone is using a mic sanitizer? We use one in the studio because we're sharing, or would you even go as far as bringing your own mic cover? To each their own but this is what you came for.

See how many things on this list trigger childhood memories—and which ones were here and gone so fast you missed them entirely.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.

LOOK: What are the odds that these 50 totally random events will happen to you?

Stacker took the guesswork out of 50 random events to determine just how likely they are to actually happen. They sourced their information from government statistics, scientific articles, and other primary documents. Keep reading to find out why expectant parents shouldn't count on due dates -- and why you should be more worried about dying on your birthday than living to 100 years old.
