Yakima’s Wildfire Ready Yard Waste Recycling Event
With the weather getting nicer and nicer, many of us are spending more and more time outside getting the outside of our homes ready for Summer.
Taking care of the yard, trimming the bushes, pruning the trees...you know all the landscaping stuff that you either hate to do, or you enjoy it so much that you long all winter to get back to it.
But what are you to do with the debris?
Please don’t dispose of it with fire. Even people with the best knowledge and tools have had accidents when trying to take care of the issue with fire, and we know that our Yakima Valley fire fighters have a difficult job a head of them as it is, why risk it.
If you attempt an outdoor burning, and it gets away from you and causes damage to other people’s property, guess who is on the hook for the damages? YOU!
Another reason to be safe and don’t attempt it. But you can bring it to the experts for proper disposal, for free, this Saturday!
