I think I’ve found my favorite Halloween-decorated house of the season. Sure, it might make me a ‘Blockhead’, but when I drove by, my jaw dropped and then turned into a smile. Indeed, the Great Pumpkin is welcomed in the Yakima Valley!

For many years, my neighbors would have a friendly back-and-forth with giant skeletons, ALL YEAR LONG. In my opinion, it’s your property, if it’s not hurting anyone, have fun.

Christmas Decorations Bad, Halloween Decorations Good?

But I did notice one major thing from the feedback: if we’re talking about Christmas decorations, you have to wait until Thanksgiving is over. Any other holiday, especially with Halloween decor, have a blast and go wild!

You want a creepy skeleton hiding Easter Eggs? Do it! Want Dracula trading in his cape for an Uncle Sam outfit? Have fun! Have a Mummy in a Sombrero, awesome!

Those are all great, but like I said above, this house in East Valley, really hit home with Halloween for me, decorating in great Peanuts style with Charlie Brown and the great pumpkin!
