Yakima Salvation Army Giving Away Free Kids’ Shoes

Money is tight, and with back-to-school right around the corner for many of the school districts in the Yakima Valley, it’s crunch time for families, but the wallet is already crunched enough. Luckily, the Yakima Salvation Army is holding an event to help relieve some of that stress.

Shoe Give Away Day in Yakima

You’re invited to the Yakima Salvation Army’s 'Shoe Give Away’ with the help of Yakima charity organization, Heel And Soul.

Shoes of various sizes for children in school will be free from 4 to 6 pm (while supplies last) on Wednesday, August 26th at the Salvation Army Yakima Community Center, 509 N. 4th Street in Yakima.

KIDS MUST BE PRESENT!

Coats will also be available.

This is a free giveaway, but donations are always welcome and accepted.
