In only its fourth year in existence, the Yakima Blues and Local Brews Bash is quickly turning in to one of the Northwest's best summer events.

This year, Chicago bluesman Otis Taylor and his band headline one of two stages on historic North Front Street, on Saturday, August 19th. Gates open at 3:30 p.m., music starts at 4:00 and goes until 10:00.

Besides world-class blues performed by Taylor as well as five other bands on the bill, the bash also offers regionally-crafted brews and wines, and delicious local food.

Tickets can be purchased at www.yakimablues.com and are $15 in advance, $20 on the day of the event. The first 2,000 people to enter get a free commemorative cup.
