Outdoor weddings are usually very beautiful, but, they do hold many possibilities of hardships! Usually weather related. Is it too hot, is the wind going to blow too hard, will it rain?!?! Other aspects of nature can come into play. At a recent wedding I attended, I was worried about mosquito bites, especially later on in the evening. It wasn't until we were walking up among the tumbleweeds to a secluded area, for the ceremony in the natural beauty of the hills, that my brother brought up another worry... ticks!
Some, may think that a tick is like a flea, and that's something for you to worry about with only your animals and pets. Not true, they like humans just as much! Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Anaplasmosis, STA Rash Illness, Tularemia, and more!
If you do find yourself a victim of the parasitic arachnids, check in with your healthcare provider as soon as possible. Hopefully, you have come across these 10 tips for preventing a tick bite, before you come across an actual tick!
