It's been a little over a year and a half since the Bed Bath & Beyond in Union Gap, Washington announced it's closing. Many in the valley were bummed. Many were still trying to figure out what the "Beyond" section actually sold. Those of us who loved the Adam Sandler 2006 flick "Click" had hopes for what was in that section, but we never found it. Then, the store closed and it was too late.

The building in the Valley Mall Plaza next to Ulta Beauty and across the parking lot from Guitar Center has sat empty with many people speculating what would and should go in there. Restaurants like Old Spaghetti Factory, Chili's, Dave & Busters were all popular suggestions for a replacement. Most knew that it would be another type of shopping location.

Many thought it could be the site for a returning Sears or Toys 'R' Us, but the toy store has already opened a location, INSIDE the mall, and the early rumors are staying that a smaller outlet form of Sears will re-open inside their former location. So what is going into the location at 1740 E Washington Ave? It's not a Spirit Halloween... it was already one of those!

So what is going into that location of the former Bed, Bath & Beyond/Spirit Halloween and the neighboring Rue 21? Thanks to an update at ShopAtValleyMall.com, we now know that it'll be a "Nordstrom Rack" store.

Nordstrom Rack carries merchandise from Nordstrom stores at 50-60% off original Nordstrom prices. Nordstrom Rack also offers an incredible selection of brand-name apparel, accessories and shoes for the entire family--from many of the same hot vendors carried in Nordstrom stores. - ShopAtValleyMall.com
