39-Year-Old Novel Predicted the Coronavirus
The end of the world is at hand! If you believe all the hype or if you read the Dean Koontz book titled "The Eyes of Darkness," then you may have already started stockpiling food, water, guns and preparing for the next Y2K, 2012, Sars, Swine-flu, Zika, etc. Yay, doomsday preppers! Koontz's book was released back in 1981. The novel is about a Chinese military laboratory that creates bio weapons, and yup, released something they shouldn't have. If you have the book, turn to 39th chapter and read for yourself. If you don't own the book, here's the excerpt:
"They call the stuff 'Wuhan-400' because it was developed at the RDNA labs outside of the city of Wuhan, and it was the four-hundredth viable strain of man-made microorganism created at that research center. "Wuhan-400 is a perfect weapon. It afflicts only human beings. No other living creature can carry it."
You can actually see the pages for yourself by clicking here. Creepy, yes, but I'm still not worried that the world is doomed, as it's being portrayed on your nightly news. After all, this was Dean Koontz predicting it ... not "The Simpsons."
