Blood Drive at The Harman Center Tuesday, December 22nd 2020
You could spend money on fake jaws blood or you could give your own blood as a donation and really do some incredible good in your very own neighborhood.
The Red Cross is always in need of your donations but coming up Tuesday, December 22nd 2020 at The Harman Center, located at 101 N 65th Ave, Yakima, WA 98908, between 11:30 am - 4:00 pm there is going to be a holiday blood drive.
If you are interested in participating you'll need to schedule an appointment with Leslie at (509)576-6402.
For this holiday season, come to the Harman Center to give blood and save lives! It will be following all COVID Protocols. Socially-distanced and please mask up!
There are a ton of different uses for your blood
The minimum requirement for a whole blood donation is you'll need to be at least 16 years of age and weight at least 110 pounds. You could then donate at the very most every 56 days if you wanted to!
There are also other types of blood donations like a power red donation, platelet donation, AB Elite Plasma Donation all with their own set or requirements but there are also myths being busted all the time like the rumor that you can't give blood if you have a tattoo is just not true. Traveling outside of the Country might have you taking some time off from donating but there are not many people doing that currently so if fear is your worst enemy know that it's professionals who take your blood, there might be a tiny bit of a prick when they starts and maybe some soreness after you are finished but you normally get some juice and a cookie afterwards so that's a pretty sweet deal for assisting lives of people you don't even know.
Give back when you can and the World will be a much healthier place!
