This Washingtonian has won the hearts of millions time and time again. He played Andy Dwyer the lovable dork on the show Parks and Recreation. His true claim to fame was his role in the Marvel universe as Starlord. He even found his way into the Jurassic Park franchise staring in Jurrasic World.

In case you haven't figured out who I'm talking about its none other than Lake Stevens local Chris Pratt. It was recently announced that Chriss Pratt would be staring in Nintendos Super Mario Brother's movie.

Chris Pratt will be voicing none other than Super Mario himself alongside a star-studded class. He even took to the internet to share his excitement. He even talks about the memories of growing up in Lake Stevens and finding a Super Mario Bros machine he would play.

School of Rock, Tenacious D, and Kung Fu Panda's Jack Black are also joining the ranks taking on the evil villain Bowser! Of course, we can't forget Mario and Luigi's tiny friend ToadStool who always helps Mario out along the way on his missions.

Of course, we can't forget the Princess herself Princess Peach, Mario's love interest, and the princess he goes to rescue. Played by the Queens Gambit's Ana Tylor Joy.

This whole cast will come together to make an explosively fun movie for the entire family to enjoy. You can catch the movie in theaters next year, December 1st, 2022
