Super Mario Oreo Cookies are in Yakima! Are They That Super?
It's been a little while since I wrote my last review on a snack food (or drink). Nothing sparked the joy of trying and then telling the world about it. Then I started hearing rumblings of limited edition packages of Oreo cookies featuring Super Mario Bros. being released. With Super Mario being a hot item right now and "limited edition" being in the marketing, it was no surprise that these cookies started going for much more than they were worth on eBay.

Are These Oreo Cookies Worth It?
What do these cookies taste like? Are they worth it? Why are they special? First off... it's a regular, generic Oreo cookie. It doesn't taste any different. If you're a fan, you know what to expect. If you aren't, you know what not to buy. Are they worth it? At the regular store price, sure, you're getting a pack of Oreo cookies. Are you going to drop more money online with exaggerated prices or shipping and handling... I wouldn't!

What's Special About Super Mario Bros. Oreo Cookies?
One side of the Oreo cookie has a stamp of different Super Mario characters. 16 total, although no Princess Peach (begging the question, if a cookie could be sexist, would it?). There is a reason for no Peach cookie stamp. It's part of a game you can play by scanning the QR code on the packaging. Should you collect themes? If you already have a collection of mold and expired food, sure, you only live once (probably shorter if that is what you collect).
What was I Expecting?
Honestly, I don't know what I expected to taste when I bought this pack of Oreos. I'm glad it wasn't themed after the character Toad and Mushroom flavored since I'm allergic. I'm glad it wasn't a weird taste that was pipes and plumber themed. No one wants a cookie with the taste of a clogged drain!
The 2nd Opinion Taste Test
I asked my wife if she wanted to try them, and she asked if they were double stuffed. They are not double stuffed, so she declined to try them.
