Father Injects 4-Year-Old Son with Heroin When Divorce is Finalized

How messed up is this? This so-called dad, 37-year-old Eric Lehtinen of Redmond, Washington, injected his own son with heroin as well as ketamine, morphine and codeine because the boy was set to live with his mom once the divorce was finalized.

That day, she went to pick him up and found both her 4-year-old son and her now ex-husband unconscious.

According to the mom, Eric Lethinen has has a history of heroin abuse as well as being a dealer.

She had also required drug tests for him, although he told her he quit using drugs.

Update: According to the Associated Press, both of their conditions have improved. The father has been booked in jail for investigation of attempted murder.
