Yakima Drivers have stepped up to defend their driving record in an anonymous social media post. And even though they’re standing up against the original statement, they’re not totally defending it either. It’s quite amusing. Check out the details and the comical responses below.

In the Facebook Group, WTF Is Happening In Yakima? (Uncensored), An anonymous participant posted:

“This town has the worst drivers I’ve ever seen in my life!”

While many in the comment section of the post agreed with comments like “100%!”, “THE WORST”, and “True!”, one person went a little farther.

“Thank you for noticing, we are currently in the top 5% for bad driving across every city in the US”

Now, I couldn’t prove Bob’s claim, Washington as a whole did rank 2nd to last, the worst state to drive in, according to WalletHub.com, but that took many factors into consideration, not just the drivers.

Yakima did crack the top 10 in the nation for cities with the worst potholes a few years ago (thank you, Yakima Herald-Republic), but once again, it's not about our drivers.

The People Who Don’t Agree With The Driving Stance

The people who came in defense of Yakima Drivers, did much more of the comparison route, with statements like: “Apparently you ain’t seen s**t”, “Try Ellensburg, where everyone drives 15 mph when you have to get somewhere on time”, and “Drive in Arizona, anywhere for 5 minutes!

Many people chimed in, pointing out how horrible the drivers in California are, and also pointed out how many people are driving without insurance, so just some things to keep in mind.
