Guy Wearing ‘Stab-Proof’ Vest Dies … After Stabbing Himself

A 22-year-old British man accidentally killed himself back on Aug. 23, 2017, and the investigation has finally (this week) ruled the death a "misadventure," which means the victim died from consequences that were not intended.

Why do I find this story, as reported by Teesside Live, interesting -- especially a year later? Because the man was wearing what he called a "Stab-Proof Vest." And as the story goes, he was in a friend's kitchen when he decided to test it! Maybe it's my 36 years on this earth, but logic seems to me, you'd test your vest on a pillow, or at least put it on a nonvital part of your body. Yes, it is sad and it does look like Darwin might be at work again.
