Kennewick Hit and Run Accident Smashes Corvette To Pieces!

Imagine getting the call that after 9 PM that a Corvette was involved in a hit and run. I once saw a video online where a Corvette tapped the back of a semi-truck and it literally shattered into a million pieces.

Luckily that didn't happen to this Corvette but it was involved in a hit and run a little after 9 PM in Kennewick. I'd still be ticked if my Corvette got munched.

Here is the official report from the Kennewick Police Department's Facebook page:

Shortly after 9 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a possible Hit and Run that had just occurred in the area of 19 N. Auburn St. in Kennewick. Witnesses observed a person running from a white sedan that had wedged itself between the railroad track and curb along Canal Street. In the process, a Corvette parked in the area sustained minor damage as the vehicle passed by. Union Pacific responded to ensure the safe removal of the vehicle from the tracks and to evaluate the tracks for any damage.

Officers are continuing to investigate this incident.
