They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and it seems to definitionally be true for a mother daughter duo in Magog, Quebec (Canada). Officers of the Régie de police de Memphrémagog came upon a car on the side of the road, and took the 27-year-old female into custody for appearing to be under the influence. At the station she refused a breathalyzer test, which added more charges. Where the story gets a little more entertaining, because it didn't happen to us, was when the 50-year-old mother came to bail her out and deal with the impounded car. Police felt something was off about the mom. After some questioning, the mother also failed a field sobriety test and was arrested and charged for impaired driving. Both Montreal residents have had their licenses suspended and will appear in court at a later date.
